Send the footage and the rules
You send the trailer, author videos or readings you want used. We write the rules into a brief, including what is off limits, the tags and which platforms to use.
Amplify Media is a London clipping agency for authors and publishers. Clippers turn your book trailer, author videos and readings into fan-style clips and post them on their own TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts pages, as the brief sets.
You send the footage once. Clippers turn it into many short clips, each with its own hook.

Independent short-form editors cut the footage into fan-style clips. They post them on their own TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts pages, as the brief sets.
A person reviews each submitted clip before its views count. Clippers are paid per 1,000 approved views.
Yes. A clipping campaign puts many short videos about your novel, each with its own hook, on pages that people already follow and watch.
We take briefs from debut and established authors, whether you are self-published or with a publisher.
A campaign is about reach and exposure. It puts the book in front of more people, and it does not promise sales.
A book trailer is ideal. Author interviews, readings and audiobook excerpts work too.
Launch or event footage and cover and quote visuals can also be cut into clips. You need the rights to everything you send.

Both can put a book in front of readers on TikTok. The difference is who posts and what you pay for.
| Option | How you pay | Who posts | What you get |
|---|---|---|---|
| BookTok influencer | Usually a flat fee per post | One creator, on their own page | Usually one or a few videos |
| Clipping campaign | Your budget pays per 1,000 approved views | Many clippers, each on their own page | Many edits, each with its own hook |
You can use both.
There are four main ways to promote a book on TikTok. The first two cost little money but take time, and the last two need a budget.
| Way | Do you post? | How you pay | What you need |
|---|---|---|---|
| Post it yourself | Yes | With your time | A TikTok account and time to film |
| Send copies to creators | No, each creator decides whether to post | Free copies of the book | A list of creators who read your genre |
| TikTok ads | Yes, as ads from your account | Ad spend paid to TikTok | An ads account and a video that works as an ad |
| Clipping campaign | No, clippers post on their own pages | Budget pays per 1,000 approved views | Footage and a written brief |

Your budget is a hard cap, with no retainer. Clippers are paid per 1,000 approved views through Content Rewards, a separate third-party platform run by Content Rewards Inc.
Invoices can be in US dollars or euros. Some managed clipping agencies publish minimums of $15,000 or more.
